With being an aspiring art teacher and an active artist in my studio in NCAD, comes a bunch of research and exploration. Below are some examples of essays and research put together through the Education course, and a copy of my thesis.

Frida Kahlo: A childless mother

This essay goes into depth into the struggles faced by feminist icon, painter and wife Frida Kahlo, with emphasis on her war with motherhood and the medical challenges that did anything but hold her back

Sociology : Gender Studies 

As part of our exploration into the role of gender in society in the current day, we were asked to write an essay supported by independent research exploring the topic of Gender in Education in 2018

Philosophy: Plato vs Locke 

In 2018, as part of our Philosophy module we were asked to compile a comparison essay, contrasting and arguing the validity of the teachings of Aristocles Plato and John Locke.
